The Jigsaw servers are housed across two physically secure locations. Each location is linked to the Internet using terabit fibre optic links. Each site has more than one fibre optic link which enter the building at opposite sides in case of damage from civil works etc. Each site has battery backup for short term power issues, and large generators for longer term issues.

The servers are housed in an air conditioned environment, protected by inert gas fire suppressant systems. The sites are manned 24/7 by technical staff, and can be accessed remotely by Jigsaw staff so that updates can be achieved without broaching the servers physical security.

Data is backed up across multiple servers on both sites. As Jigsaw grows, more servers can easily be added so that capacity and speed are not compromised however many users are added.

The Jigsaw Servers are constantly accepting data connections from all over the globe. Connections are made using the industry standard TCP/IP protocol. The Jigsaw Servers also interface to other data servers to gather card transaction information from fuel card providers, telematics (vehicle position) information from Vehicle Tracking Servers such as Tom Tom and Isotrak, and can export directly to fleet management servers.

We strive to keep our systems up to date with the latest software versions and only develop our systems using recognised, industry standard software packages. Databases operate under the most popular database language SQL, managed by SQL Server.
